Honeymoon jitters!

When people ask me about my wedding, one of the question I get is, "have you decided on a honeymoon?" My response is, "The honeymoon has been decided for the last seven years, so yes, we have decided and have booked our honeymoon." When they hear the "seven years" line, they normally give me a questioned look, so I go onto explain what I mean.

Seven years ago I fell in love with the idea of photography being more than just my hobby. I started exploring photography as a career, I searched wedding photography and decided that I could make that work. When exploring the subject further I ventured upon "Trash the Dress" photography. I was hooked! I couldn't get enough of it! There was one company in particular that caught my eye, Del Sol Photography! They are seriously so incredible! I learned of their location and began planning the day that I became engaged I would tell that man of mine, "We are going to Rivera de Maya for our honeymoon and we are trashing my wedding dress in a cenote!" Billy has been informed of this dream of mine for a while now and was on board with this idea! We went to a travel agency and booked ourselves a 9 day trip to Rivera de Maya Mexico in an all exclusive resort! So pumped! The best part is on our second day there, we are meeting with the wonderful Del Sol photographer Deborah who is taking our gorgeous photos! Once I signed that contract I was so ready for my wedding day just to come so I can go to Mexico and wear my gown in the water! Some of you may think I'm crazy, but when you see the images that they produce, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will not miss out on! We all have something that makes our wedding day special to us, mine is going to be my dress photos that will be taken on my honeymoon!
